What Happened at Our Hits with Jits Class?
Here is what to expect when you join us for this exhilerating class:
Step One
We started by knocking one arm out of the way, pinning it to their body, and securing a strong neck tie.
From there, we introduced some sharp knees to start working our offense.
Step Two
The class evolved naturally with the classic "what if?" scenario—what if they punch with their free hand? We problem-solved together:
- Using our knee to force their punching arm into a defensive block.
- Securing their arm to open it up for a knee, then closing it off to stop their counter knee.
- Exploring their possible responses: pulling the arm away, throwing an overhand punch, or firing an uppercut.
Step Three
We broke down solutions for each reaction, drilled them into our game, then put everything to work with live rounds—sharpening our timing, feel, and problem-solving instincts in motion.
The energy in the room was on fire! Everyone pushed themselves, embraced the challenge, and left 1% better. Huge respect to the squad for bringing the effort, focus, and camaraderie that makes this gym so special.
